Stiffer frame - New bike

The journey of my cycling has now transited from a folding bike (where space storage was my main priority) to a non foldable stiff frame (where ride experience is the main priority).

As always, being behind the curve snagging this 2nd hand purchase i get bang for the buck.

This is a Raleigh Mini Velo 7, aluminium frame, steel fork, steel post, etc.

The parts from my folding bike was transplanted here which include:
1. Dahon V Brakes front & Rear
2. Shimano Sealed Bottom bracket
3. Crank set & Shimano clip on padels
4. Chain
5. Brooks Saddle
6. Rear Wheel & 7 speed cog set

The outstanding item is the front wheel. - Completed on Jul 7, 2017. Installed with skewers purchased from Lazada cheaply at $3.60. I am amazed how much mark up sold in shops vs web stores (free delivery to Singapore from Shenzhen)

This fork width is 100mm while my wheel is for 74mm.
My intention is to add customised spacers and a new quick release skewers to complete the front wheel transplant.

The existing deraileur works well and shifts well. This is a great consolation after spending one whole evening making sure both the folding bike and new bike is in riding condition.
